“ Excellent service, great good and fantastic atmosphere. Shout out to Maebel, Ridovane and Kaka for delivering an amazing service. Will be recommending Yara to all my friends. ”
“ Food generally are nice, but couple of time my friends ordered chick wings each time they were undercook. So be aware. It is a good value restaurant specially bring your own bottle. ”
“ Amazing food with generous helpings and decent price. Staff were friendly and the BOYB policy is excellent for a special occasion. Would define you recommend to anyone! ”
“ I love that you can bring your own wine here for £1 corkage fee. You can also buy wine and beer for a reasonable price too (but sainsburys is just round the corner). There is a good selection on the menu, and if you love kebabs, you'll love it here! I had lamb chops with salad for £14; they brought out about 8 chops and I couldn't finish them all, and the dressing on the salad was tasty and refreshing. This place is always full when I come and I am not surprised. It's reasonable, has a good atmosphere and you're guaranteed good wine! ”
“ Our multi-generational family group really enjoyed our meal here recently. They are a family-run restaurant specialising in traditional Lebanese and Syrian food. The menu is quite comprehensive to say the least, and not being *that* familiar with the cuisine of this region we opted for a few starter dishes we'd heard of (such as Babaghanouj) together with some others we hadn't. Sharing everything was a great way to try multiple things and I'd recommend it here as there were some really tasty discoveries. For mains, most of us chose a kebab in one form or another, with separate servings of salad and rice (the Mujadara rice - whole lentils & rice cooked in vegetable oil & spices, topped with fried onions - was really good). As an added bonus, you can bring your own alcohol with you - the corkage is only £1 a bottle. They also stock a range of Lebanese wines and beers as well as some mainstream beers. Given how popular the restaurant was on a Sunday evening goes to show they cook and serve great food. We'll definitely be returning here. ”
“ Yara serves Lebanese and Syrian food and is a great little restaurant. They do serve beer and wine but you're welcome to bring your own (£1 corkage fee.) I'm vegetarian and while there were a few good veggie mains, myself and my girlfriend ordered three starters each and had our food tapas-style. The restaurant isn't that great inside but it's certainly not a dump either and the food definitely makes up for it. Give it a go! ”
